Big news, everyone! The Zenless Zone Zero version 1.6 update, “Among the Forgotten Ruins,” is launching on March 12. Buckle up because this update promises to take us deeper into the secrets of New Eridu!
The developer, miHoYo, has shared some juicy details about what to expect. Proxies will be up against various factions, including the phantom thief syndicate Mockingbird, in an auction for an artifact tied to the Sacrifice’s secrets. Sounds intense, right? We’ll finally learn more about Anby’s identity and Trigger’s backstory with New Eridu’s military factions.
In this new chapter of the main story, tensions are high as Proxies aim to grab that coveted artifact. But wait, Hugo and Vivian seem to be playing both sides! Are they friends or foes? It’s going to keep us on our toes!
Anby Demara was once known as Soldier 0 – the leader of the Silver Squad. She’s now an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent who wields dual swords and unleashes Electric damage like a pro! Her attacks trigger Aftershock and boost allies’ CRIT DMG against the same enemy. Joining her is the new S-Rank character Trigger, an Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad. When she goes into Sniper Mode, she can dodge attacks and strike back while calling for Quick Assists from teammates. Talk about a power move!
And let’s not forget Pulchra Fellini is back! She’s making her return in Version 1.6 as an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent under Sons of Calydon. We also have S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan returning in rerun banners.
Players will face off against a new boss named Geppetto in Hollow Zero and unlock Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge! Plus, new gameplay modes like Shadow Operation introduce unique effects based on collected coins during battles. Oh, and Trigger’s TV Schedule will feature third-person shooter gameplay for sniper missions—how cool is that?
You can also participate in events like March On and Tiny Titan!, where you can complete challenges as a Bangboo drone or help one out with ten different trials to earn exclusive rewards, including Pulchra herself!
