NBA 2K27 Update 1.5 Will Address MyCAREER Blockers Without Changing Gameplay

NBA 2K27 update 1.5 will release around September 11 at 2 AM PT on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The patch will focus on MyCAREER blockers, save-related issues, Crew match results, and general stability, with no gameplay changes included.

MyCAREER receives most of the attention, including fixes for Fire & Conqueror rewards, the NBA Cup game in Chapter 7, offseason progression, the Hall of Fame speech, and several save-related problems. Crew players will also no longer receive an incorrect loss when an opponent quits during a Crew Division match. The timing and full notes appear in the official Steam announcement.

Version 1.5 keeps the focus on technical and progression issues rather than balance. The earlier NBA 2K27 version 1.3 notes also addressed matchmaking and progression problems, but this patch moves that cleanup further into MyCAREER saves and story progression.

No gameplay changes have been made in this update as we continue to monitor games across various modes by players of all skill levels.

• Crews no longer incorrectly receive a loss when an opponent quits during a Crew Division match.
• Resolved an issue in MyCAREER that could prevent some Fire & Conqueror rewards from being received on saves that had played a Co-Op game.
• Fixed a possible blocker during the NBA Cup game in Chapter 7 of Fire & Conqueror in MyCAREER.
• Resolved an issue with Co-Op games in MyCAREER where one player’s quest progression could incorrectly impact another player’s save.
• Fixed a blocker that could occur in the offseason of MyCAREER after the FIBA period.
• Addressed a blocker during the Rising Stars game in MyCAREER after initially starting an Era save and then switching to a save file in the normal era.
• Fixed a rare hang during the Hall of Fame speech in MyCAREER.
• Fixed a hang in Breakout that could occur when a lineup was deleted.
• General stability updates to improve the user experience.
