Saber Interactive has detailed a new update for World War Z. The update, available today, brings numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements, particularly for the game’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.
The patch resolves a significant issue that caused faulty display when AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution was enabled on specific GPUs. Furthermore, it addresses a crash that users face when returning to the main menu from the game. This fix is sure to provide a smoother gaming experience.

- Resolved an issue with gameplay not displaying as intended on GPUs when AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution is enabled.
- Resolved a crash that occurred when returning to the main menu from the game.
- Fixed the problem of muted gunfire while the electric fence was active.
- Fixed the issue with gamertags being displayed as a ‘Nickname.’
- Updated Heavy Weapon icons to accurately reflect the weapons currently equipped.
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Lieutenant Titus and Tyranid Trinkets can be obtained again.
