World War Z managed to sell over 1 million copies in just a week

Just in its first week of release, World War Z has managed to sell over 1 million copies. Apparently, Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive co-op shooter performed very well. Despite the fact most of the rants were based on the digital reseller being the Epic Games Store, million sales are not bad at all.

World War Z was released on April 16, the date when the kick-off allegedly happened. Its strong and powerful film-based narrative has been escorted appropriately by its fans, leading to, what’s supposed to be a successful deal.

The absolute number of current sales is astonishing considering the fact the game is not found in the store library of Steam. In an interview to VentureBeat, the developer behind Saber Interactive stated the following:

Overall the U.S. and EU have been equally strong in sales. We have had 70,000 people playing at once across all platforms, with very similar distribution among PC (Epic Games Store), PS4 and Xbox. What surprises us is the fact that sales outside of the U.S. on the Epic Store have been so strong, with the U.S. being only one quarter of sales.

The third-person co-op shooter provides a lot of fun to those who are willing to team up. Extermination of horde of zombies is sometimes more than enjoyable when it comes to a video game, and with the huge content that’s still coming, players will have a wide variety of gameplay content.

Tokyo is the next stop, scheduled to come as the fourth piece of the campaign found within World War Z. Nevertheless, the milestone has been achieved, and the developers of World War Z are very glad for reaching this goal.
