World of Warcraft’s Sept. 2 Hotfixes Fix Class Bugs and Ease Mythic Ula’tek
The changes also repair Great Vault Catalyst conversions and address PvP bugs affecting Druids and Evokers.

World of Warcraft’s Sept. 2 hotfixes focus on practical fixes across Midnight, with three PvE specs receiving class corrections and The Venomous Abyss getting several Mythic adjustments. The Catalyst also gets help with Great Vault conversions, while PvP fixes cover Balance Druids and Evokers. Before this Sept. 2 batch, Blizzard’s Sept. 1 hotfixes focused on broader Venomous Abyss difficulty adjustments and additional class fixes.
Blizzard’s official Sept. 2 hotfix notes describe a cleanup-focused pass rather than a broad round of class tuning. Feral Druids, Destruction Warlocks, and Warriors each receive a targeted fix, while Ula’tek’s Mythic encounter has two damage and duration changes alongside corrections for Doomscale Eggs.
For additional context, an earlier set of Midnight hotfixes fixed spec-swap spell errors affecting several classes. The latest batch keeps that same focus on correcting issues that can disrupt normal play.
World of Warcraft Midnight 12.1 Patch Notes
The most direct encounter changes affect Mythic Ula’tek, where Soul Constrictor will last for less time and Blight Vein will deal reduced damage. Players dealing with Catalyst problems should also see previously blocked Great Vault items become usable, although characters affected by the false conversion display may need to relog.
In PvP, Balance Druids now have the correct raid-frame debuff display for Faerie Swarm. Evokers receive a vendor display fix for staves, and Preservation Evokers get a correction for Rewind when Cyclone interferes with the ability.
