WARDOGS Players Can Build Cash Fast Without Chasing Every Kill

Closed-beta figures put binoculars at $75, revives at $900, and completed FOB construction as high as $1,500, though BULKHEAD says the economy will change for Early Access.

WARDOGS pays for more than kills. Spotting enemies, building fortifications, reviving teammates, and transporting players toward the Hot Zone can all refill your wallet, often without the cost of an expensive combat loadout. The figures below come from the closed beta, and BULKHEAD has said the economy will change before the game’s September 10, 2026, Early Access launch.

Your cash funds permanent upgrades and temporary gear, so a steady income makes it easier to support the team without spending every life with the cheapest possible equipment. These are the most useful money-making routes to try first.

Use binoculars to earn from a safe distance

Binoculars cost $75 and are one of the simplest ways to start building cash. Hold the left mouse button over a visible enemy soldier, vehicle, or structure to mark it for your teammates. A successful spot pays immediately, while a teammate killing that marked target can earn you an assist worth hundreds more.

Find a hill near the Hot Zone or an enemy FOB, go prone, and keep marking targets for your team. You can contribute without putting an expensive weapon or armor set at risk, which makes spotting especially useful while learning the battlefield.

Build an FOB for large construction payouts

A hammer and an FOB module turn a useful base into a steady source of income. At the beginning of a match, the default FOB location is the tower nearest your spawn. Ask a helicopter pilot to bring FOB supplies, or transport them yourself, then use the following sequence:

  1. Place the FOB at the tower.
  2. Hold the left mouse button with your hammer to build it.
  3. Strike the yellow X markers to speed up construction.
  4. Spend FOB supplies on walls, gates, and Hesco blocks around the position.

Each productive hammer swing paid $15 in the beta, while completing a build could pay between $1,200 and $1,500. That makes construction one of the better ways to fund your next loadout without hunting for kills.

Turn revives and healing into steady income

Reviving a teammate paid $900 in the beta, and basic revives did not require extra equipment. A support-focused loadout can carry a large backpack filled with resuscitators and bandages, then follow teammates from the backline and respond whenever someone goes down.

  1. Buy the largest backpack available to you.
  2. Carry resuscitators for quick revives and bandages for healing.
  3. Stay close enough to reach downed teammates without leading the attack.
  4. Revive players for the direct payout.
  5. Heal teammates for $200 per use.
  6. Collect extra assist income when revived players return to the fight and score kills.

The defibrillator costs $1,600, and its batteries cost $150. Each battery supports five revives, so it becomes a larger purchase that can pay for itself over several rescues.

Move players with the APC or a helicopter

WARDOGS pays players who make it easier for teammates to reach the fight. The spawn APC has a satellite dish on top and can be driven from headquarters to the Hot Zone or an FOB. Leave it in a useful position and earn money whenever teammates use it. Only one player can handle this job at a time, so take the vehicle when it is available.

Helicopters offer a more demanding version of the same plan. Practice flying in the firing range, then ferry players between spawn and the Hot Zone. Dropping players at the zone provides direct cash, while tips and later assist income can add more. Helicopters are expensive for early players, and a crash or an RPG can end the run quickly, so this route is best for pilots who can keep the aircraft alive.

Keep combat loadouts cheap

You do not need a premium kit to start earning from kills. Buy the cheapest gun, ammunition, and armor available, then treat the loadout as expendable. After securing a kill, loot the enemy’s body and replace your budget gear with better equipment. Spending less on each life leaves more cash available for future upgrades while still giving you a chance to build a stronger kit.

Hold the Hot Zone when you want direct income

Standing in the Hot Zone provides passive income worth hundreds of dollars per minute in the beta. Kills and assists made inside the zone add even more, making it the most direct route for players who would rather stay in the fight than focus on construction or transport.

The Hot Zone can also put you in the center of the match, so combine this method with cheap gear if you are still building your wallet. Spotting from nearby high ground, reviving teammates around the objective, and helping transport players into the zone can all support the same income loop.

Expect the numbers to change at Early Access

BULKHEAD has warned that the beta economy will change for Early Access. Treat $75 binoculars, $900 revives, $200 bandage heals, and the construction payouts as useful starting references rather than permanent values. The underlying approach should remain clear, though. WARDOGS pays players for helping the team reach objectives, stay alive, and keep fighting.
