War Thunder’s US Navy Birthday Sale Cuts 4 Ships by 30%
The sale runs through October 16 at 11:00 GMT, and players can earn the US Pacific Fleet decal with 10,000 mission points using a Rank III or higher American vessel.
War Thunder’s US Navy birthday event is underway, with 30% off the USS Maryland Pack and three other American ships. The promotion runs from October 13 at 11:00 GMT through October 16 at 11:00 GMT, as detailed in Gaijin’s Steam announcement.
The observance marks the Continental Congress’s October 13, 1775 decision to establish a naval force. A Navy birthday tradition has the most senior and junior personnel present cut the cake together with a naval dirk, symbolizing continuity between generations.
The Maryland Pack and 3 more ship offers
The USS Maryland Pack costs 55.99, reduced from 79.99. It includes the Rank VI American battleship, 30 days of Premium account time, and 3,000 Golden Eagles. Steam players can reach the Gaijin Store from the in-game hangar by opening Shop > Online Store.
The individual ships are available under USA > Bluewater fleet > Premium vehicles. USS Cowell costs 3,416 Golden Eagles, while the Rank IV USS Helena and Rank V USS Des Moines each cost 5,614 Golden Eagles. Cowell can only be purchased during this promotion.
- USS Cowell: The Rank III destroyer carries five 127 mm main guns, seven 20 mm cannons, up to 10 533 mm torpedoes, and six depth charges.
- USS Helena: The light cruiser has five turrets, each with three 152 mm guns, along with 20 mm and 40 mm anti-aircraft weapons. It fought near Guadalcanal before a torpedo sank it in July 1943. USS Helena’s ship profile has more details.
- USS Des Moines: The Rank V heavy cruiser uses 203 mm autoloading guns. With a fully trained crew, its main battery can reload in 6 seconds. The ship was laid down in May 1945 and did not see combat. USS Des Moines’ ship profile covers its armament.
Earn the US Pacific Fleet decal
The Emblem of the US Pacific Fleet decal requires 10,000 mission points in battles using a U.S. Coastal or Bluewater vessel at Rank III or higher. Random battles count, and the reward must be collected manually after completing the task. Track progress in the hangar under Nickname > Achievements > Holidays > US Navy Birthday, then find the decal under USA > Fleet in customization.
