War Thunder Update 2.57.1.60 Details Two Sound Fixes

The patch addresses a disruptive Ju 87 siren audio bug and improves stability when sound mods are enabled.

Gaijin Entertainment has published the official Steam announcement for War Thunder Update 2.57.1.60. This is a focused audio patch, with one fix for the Ju 87 aircraft series and another aimed at improving the game’s stability when sound modifications are active.

The Ju 87 fix addresses a serious audio problem. Sirens could trigger a loud sound artifact that drowned out every other sound during play. The update also improves the game’s stability for players using sound mods.

The update is limited to sound-related fixes, but the Ju 87 issue could affect a player’s ability to hear important battlefield audio. The sound mod change should also make modified audio setups less prone to stability problems.

Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
