War Thunder sends its screenshot contest into the city

The 231st Steam Screenshot Competition asks players to frame a vehicle with a building or bridge before July 10.

War Thunder’s 231st Steam Screenshot Competition asks players to put a vehicle in an urban scene, with a building or bridge in frame. The contest follows the 230th edition, Heavy Cavalry, and shifts the focus back to city streets and industrial backdrops.

To enter, players need to upload a fresh screenshot to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub with #WTscreen231 in the title and nothing else. The deadline is July 10, and six winners will each receive 300 GE, split between three community picks and three judge picks.

The rules stay tight. The screenshot has to be the player’s own work, it cannot have appeared in another contest, and it must be a raw in-game image. Built-in filters, settings, and replay tools are allowed, but outside editing software and image enhancers are not. Gaijin also says rewards will reach the winner’s account within 14 working days.

If you plan to enter, tell us what you think in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
