VRChat’s 2026.2.3 update is live with desktop third-person view

The latest build adds the free Desktop Third-Person view option, changes Companions, and links to the full notes plus a video rundown.

VRChat put Release 2026.2.3 live on June 22, 2026, bringing the free Desktop Third-Person view option and changes to Companions.

The studio also linked the full notes on its docs page, where players can dig into the rest of the update. A video rundown is also available:

Release 2026.2.3 follows other recent VRChat builds, including Release 2026.1.1, which added the Live Now tab and Group Auto Invites.
