Valor Mortis Breaks Even After 7 Days and Turns a Profit
Sales cleared the development, sales, and marketing costs counted under the publishing deal, with One More Level's first royalty payments scheduled for Q1 2027.

Valor Mortis reached break-even seven days after launch, One More Level announced on Oct. 21, 2026. Under its publishing deal with Lyrical Games, sales passed the development, sales, and marketing costs counted in the agreement. The studio says the game is now turning a profit, though that threshold does not mean One More Level is already collecting a large profit.
We are beyond proud to announce that @ValorMortis has officially reached a break-even point in just 7 DAYS!

One More Level did not disclose a copy total or the size of its profit. Its first royalty payments are scheduled for Q1 2027, and most of that money will go toward settlement schedules and commercial partners.
An amendment to the publishing deal will provide additional development funding from the co-publisher, including for a paid DLC planned for the near future.
