The First Descendant Update 1.4.3 Brings Cradle of Evolution and Ultimate Hailey
The update also adds asynchronous trading, new rewards, major Descendant balance changes, and a long list of quality-of-life improvements.

The First Descendant Update 1.4.3 adds the Cradle of Evolution dungeon, Ultimate Hailey, and a new way to trade items through player Lounges. Nexon published the full update details in its Steam update notice for Steam, Xbox, and PS5.
Cradle of Evolution is aimed at players who have reached Mastery Rank 18. Each run begins from a random location, sends players through a changing route, and includes eight Combat Zones before the fight against Separated Tarvos. The dungeon can award Quality 271 to Quality 400 Transcendent Weapons, Ultimate Hailey materials, the new Freezing Breakthrough Trigger Module, and other upgrade resources.
Ultimate Hailey’s two exclusive Transcendent Modules, Dangerous Distance and Extreme Strike, can also come from Cradle of Evolution. The update expands on the previously detailed Lounge Storage Trade system, which lets players list Trigger Modules, Ancestors Modules, and Transcendent Weapons for other players to purchase from their Lounge.
Alongside the new content, Update 1.4.3 reworks parts of Raven, Lepic, Luna, and Hailey, improves several Transcendent Weapons, adds Module purchasing with Archive Shards, changes Onslaught’s desertion penalties, and removes Easy Anti-Cheat as the game moves to a different security solution.
