The First Descendant Hotfix Fixes Two Anniversary Event Problems

The First Descendant Hotfix 1.3.34b was scheduled for July 15, 2026, at 07:20 PDT on Steam, Xbox, and PS5. The small maintenance patch addresses two issues tied to the game’s anniversary content and Onslaught Mode rewards.

Nexon said the hotfix does not require a client update, so players will not need to download new game files. Anyone already playing must return to the title screen and reconnect to apply the patch. Players who stay in-game without reconnecting quickly may have the game close automatically.

The developer detailed the fixes in its official Steam notice. One issue could intermittently reset progress after players completed the Daily Personal Goal mission from Assemble Event I. The other affected the Option Tier on Ancestors Modules awarded through Onslaught Mode Weekly Bonuses.
