The Blood of Dawnwalker Hotfix 1.0.4 Fixes Quest Blocks and PC Issues
Rebel Wolves also fixed saving problems, blocked attacks, GameInput-related FPS drops, and VSync issues with FSR Frame Generation.

Rebel Wolves released Hotfix 1.0.4 for The Blood of Dawnwalker, bringing stability improvements alongside fixes for quest progression, combat, saving, and several PC-specific problems.
One of the more unusual fixes removes a bright red placeholder pipe from the silver mines. The asset was marked “DO NOT USE” and repeated that warning text, making it difficult for players to miss. The hotfix also prevents dead NPCs from starting conversations and stops torches from growing uncontrollably.
Gameplay issues addressed by the patch include Coen becoming trapped inside certain houses, blocking failing under specific conditions, and players being unable to save. The hotfix also prevents dead NPCs from starting conversations and fixes a tutorial progression problem tied to using Voracious Bite too quickly.
PC players receive a few extra fixes. Connecting a controller through outdated GameInput software should no longer cause FPS drops on Steam, while VSync should behave correctly when FSR Frame Generation is active. Quality preset mods should also apply properly after the update. Steam will download the hotfix the next time its client launches.
