Squad 10.6 Hotfix 1 Focuses on UI Fixes as Other Bugs Remain

The notes list party-panel and server-browser fixes, while Offworld says tracked-vehicle and map-collision issues still need attention.

Offworld Industries has published notes for Squad 10.6 Hotfix 1, a fix batch aimed mainly at interface and server-browser problems. The Hotfix 1 notes also detail a server crash fix, but the developer says several broader issues still need work.

The hotfix follows Squad 10.6’s October 1 launch, which added the party system now receiving several interface fixes. Players can collapse the Party UI panel outside the Home screen, and the fixes address the panel pushing the screen sideways or incorrectly showing a party as locked.

Other changes cover server-browser display problems, stacked detail panels, a hitch when loading the in-game Friends list, and a slow game shutdown. The notes also fix a key-rebinding issue involving the Escape key and a Tallil rendering bug that made mortar craters appear as untextured gray blocks. A server-only release fixes an issue that caused server crashes.

Offworld says tracked-vehicle problems, ongoing UI concerns, and terrain or collision issues on some maps remain among the issues to address. Its Community, QA, Design, Production, and Programming teams were reviewing player reports on October 2 and planned to continue through the weekend. The contents of another hotfix will depend on how quickly the reported problems can be reproduced and fixed, and no release date was given. Players can continue reporting problems through the Squad Bug Reports Discord thread.
