Lotan “Spinx” Giladi finally has the career MVP medal he had been waiting for. The MOUZ player received the award after helping his team defeat Spirit in the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals, where he posted a 1.54 rating in the grand final.

The result also gave MOUZ its first trophy in 17 months. The tournament was the team’s debut event with Oldřich “PR” Nový, making the victory arrive much sooner than Spinx expected.

“I didn’t expect it to come so fast,” Spinx said. “I knew we would be good, but we were always making it to the playoffs. Now we managed to take this big next step and win this trophy.”

In an HLTV interview, the Israeli lurker credited his teammates, family, friends, and MOUZ’s staff for helping him reach the milestone. He had come close to an MVP award several times before, but the BLAST Bounty Finals marked his first career win.

“I’ve been close a couple of times, so I’m happy I managed to win one,” Spinx said. “I always wanted to have just one in my career. I’m not looking to have many, like other professional players. I’m happy I managed to have one, and that’s it.”

A long-awaited trophy for MOUZ

MOUZ’s victory ended a long stretch without a championship. Spinx said the team felt confident from the opening rounds of the grand final, pointing to clear communication and strong energy as key parts of the performance.

He was also quick to admit that the team could have played better on Ancient. Still, a best-of-five series rarely goes perfectly across every map, and MOUZ had enough consistency to finish the job against Spirit.

“I’m just super happy with the boys, with how we played today,” Spinx said. “I felt the confidence since the beginning; the comms were clear, the energy was good.”

The new roster’s quick success has naturally raised questions about whether MOUZ can challenge for more trophies. Spinx pushed back against making that judgment too soon. MOUZ defeated Spirit in the final, but it did not face every top-tier opponent at the event, including Falcons and Vitality.

That caution did not stop Spinx from backing the team’s potential. He said MOUZ could beat anyone, while acknowledging that future tournaments may be more difficult when the strongest teams are all in attendance.

“I would say I don’t want to jump over the line,” Spinx said. “We beat Spirit in the grand final, it’s not an easy task, but yet we didn’t play against other top tier-one teams like Falcons, Vitality, and the teams that win big events like Majors and stuff like this.”

For Spinx, the personal award and the team’s trophy arrived together after a string of near misses. He said the confidence he felt during the final helped him take advantage of more opportunities than in previous matches, but once again emphasized that the result depended on the entire MOUZ lineup and staff.

The MVP is now one of the clearest achievements of his career, while MOUZ leaves the event with a fresh title and proof that its new lineup can deliver under pressure.
