Sea Power’s 0.8.1 patch shores up saves and task force bugs

Triassic Games also added a Sensor Tool to the EMCON menu and folded in fresh fixes for the Pacific Strike campaign.

Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age got patch 0.8.1 on July 8, 2026, and Triassic Games used it to fix save trouble, smooth out Task Force Mode, and tidy up the campaign systems that arrived in the 0.8.0 campaign update.

The most visible addition is a Sensor Tool in the EMCON menu. It gives players a closer look at sensor characteristics on each unit, which should make it easier to read the battlefield when contacts start stacking up.

Most of the rest of the patch is a cleanup pass. Pacific Strike and Task Force Mode got the heaviest attention, with fixes for mid-mission saves, mission flow, aircraft handling, and a few weapon and unit quirks.
