SCUM Hotfix 0.9.692.94426 Tackles Server and Anti-Cheat Glitches

SCUM just rolled out a quick hotfix addressing some headaches caused by the recent anti-cheat update. If you’ve been wrestling with servers freezing on shutdown or struggling to find servers in the browser, this patch might smooth things out.

Here’s what the developers fixed:

  • Fixed the issue where servers would sometimes hang on server shutdown due to anti-cheat.
  • Potential fix for servers not showing up in the server browser.
  • Potential fix for an issue where it was not possible to connect to a server for a while after a server restart.

These fixes might seem minor, but anyone stuck staring at a frozen server list or waiting ages to reconnect knows how frustrating that can be. Sure, the anti-cheat update was necessary, but it threw a wrench in the works for some players and server admins.

Have you noticed improvements after applying this hotfix? Or are some quirks still lingering? Please share your thoughts in the comments below. I’m curious to hear your experiences.
