Satisfactory’s Experimental branch gets another cleanup in v1.2.2.2
The hotfix targets blocked player actions, controller issues with vehicle paths, Custom Colors, Creative Mode, Photo Mode, and updated translations.

Satisfactory picked up v1.2.2.2 on its Experimental branch on May 19, 2026, and this hotfix is aimed at a short list of problems that could interrupt play, especially blocked inputs and a few Creative Mode and Photo Mode quirks.
Coffee Stain has been sanding down rough edges in the Experimental build for a bit now, and the v1.2.1.0 hotfix had already taken aim at Photo Mode, controller, UI, and art issues.
If you run into one of the input-blocking cases, the team wants reports sent through the QA site. Before testing Experimental, back up your save and blueprint folders from %LocalAppData%FactoryGameSavedSaveGames-YOUR ID- and %LocalAppData%FactoryGameSavedSaveGamesblueprints.
Getting onto Experimental is straightforward. On Steam, open Satisfactory in your library, go to Properties, then Game Versions & Betas, and pick experimental. On Epic, search for “Satisfactory Experimental” in your Library and install the separate entry.
The main thing to watch here is player input. This hotfix tries to catch more cases where actions get stuck after things like portable miners or train timetables, while also cleaning up Custom Colors saving, controller behavior when dismantling vehicle paths, and a couple of Photo Mode and Creative Mode edge cases. Accessibility also gets a small but useful quality-of-life tweak with a new snapping memory option.
