Saros pre-orders are live, and the Deluxe route buys two days ahead of launch
Housemarque's next PS5 game arrives on April 30, 2026, with a shared pre-order armor bonus and a Digital Deluxe Edition that adds early access plus three extra suits.
Housemarque’s Saros is now up for pre-order ahead of its April 30, 2026 release on PS5. Sony is offering two digital editions on PlayStation Store, and the game also has PS5 Pro support.
Saros is Housemarque’s next major project after Returnal. It takes place on the hostile world of Carcosa, where players step into the boots of Arjun Devraj, a Soltari Enforcer tracking a lost off-world colony beneath an eclipse.
It is a single-player action game built around a more cinematic structure than Returnal, with hub-based runs, a larger cast, and fights against alien threats. Sony also confirmed the release date in its official PlayStation blog post, which explained that the extra month was used for final polish.
Anyone who buys either edition gets the Hands of Shore Armor as a pre-order bonus. That armor is inspired by Death Stranding 2.
All Saros editions
The Standard Edition includes the base game and the pre-order armor. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the same Hands of Shore Armor, 48-hour early access, and three additional Enforcer suits inspired by other PlayStation games: Returnal, Ghost of Yōtei, and God of War. Those suits are named Astra, Onryo, and Midgard.
The Standard Edition costs $69.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition is listed at $79.99. That $10 gap covers the extra armor sets and the early access window.
Players who choose the Digital Deluxe Edition will be able to start on April 28, 2026, which is two days before the full launch, depending on region.
For now, Sony and Housemarque have not announced a Collector’s Edition.
