SAND Update #4 Tackles Trampler Bugs While Anti-Cheat Work Continues

Hologryph and tinyBuild released a new patch with server-side fixes, audio additions, duplication protection, and more work on moving Tramplers.

SAND: Raiders of Sophie Update #4 is out now, with another round of fixes aimed at hit registration, moving Tramplers, character positioning, and several gameplay exploits. Hologryph and tinyBuild also provided a short status update on the game’s ongoing anti-cheat work in the official Steam announcement.

The developers are still working on new protections against cheating and hope to implement them during the week of July 13. Enemy Trampler captures will remain disabled until that work is finished. Once the protections are in place, the feature will return.

Server problems in West US and Central US should now be resolved, but OCE servers are still dealing with issues tied to outages. The team is working with its providers on the remaining problems.

Update #4 also targets interactions and combat on fast-moving Tramplers. Players should see better results when shooting, dropping items, using parkour actions, and interacting with objects while riding. The patch also removes a newly reported duplication method and fixes a Storm Dive damage issue.
