S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope will launch on August 20, 2026, at one global release moment. Depending on your location, the expansion will arrive as early as 5:00 a.m. or as late as midnight on August 21. GSC Game World shared the regional schedule in an official Steam announcement.

Cost of Hope pricing and edition access

At launch, Cost of Hope will be available as part of the Ultimate Edition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Players who do not own that edition will also be able to purchase the expansion separately for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. The final amount may vary by region.
