PUBG Update 42.3 Map Rotations Will Start August 12 on PC and August 20 on Console

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 42.3 will begin its next map rotation on PC on August 12, 2026, followed by consoles on August 20, 2026. PUBG published the regional schedules and preference data in its official Map Service Report.

The report uses map data collected from June 1 through July 28. PUBG measured playtime, match count, selection rate, and leave rate across modes, while warning that rounded percentages may not add up to exactly 100%.

Update 42.3 will also bring the previously announced Map Selection adjustment to PC regions NA, SA, EU, and RU, along with console regions NA, EU, SA, and APAC. The system will move from five available map slots to three: one fixed map and two rotating maps. Players will still be able to select a preferred map from the available choices.

The new plan follows the regional schedule used for Update 42.2 map rotations, but the smaller Map Selection pool changes how many alternatives players can choose between each week.

Update 42.3 map rotation schedule

PC players will see the next rotation every Wednesday at 02:00 UTC. Console players will receive their weekly rotation every Thursday at 07:00 UTC.

Normal Match map pools

The four-week lineup below covers the regional Normal Match pools. The main PC regions and the all-region console lineup use the same three-map rotation structure, while AS, SEA, and KAKAO retain their separate groupings.

AS and SEA

For AS and SEA, the report groups five maps into two Fixed entries, two Favored entries, and one Etc. entry each week.

NA, SA, EU, RU, and console

PC regions NA, SA, EU, and RU, as well as the console lineup across all regions, use Erangel as the fixed map during all four weeks.

KAKAO

On the KAKAO platform, Erangel, Taego, and Sanhok remain in the Fixed Map pool throughout the schedule.

Ranked map service

Ranked will continue using an even four-map split: Erangel, Miramar, Taego, and Rondo at 25% each. Ranked map service updates on a season-by-season schedule rather than the weekly Normal Match rotation.
