PUBG Banned 61,892 Accounts During Its July 27-August 2 Sweep
Cheating accounted for 29,516 of the bans, while 14,384 devices and 21,950 affected accounts were recorded.
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS banned 61,892 accounts during the July 27 to August 2, 2026 investigation period, according to the game’s official weekly bans notice published August 5.
Cheating made up the largest category with 29,516 bans. Another 25,977 accounts were banned for abusing, while 5,919 bans involved team killing and 480 involved teaming.
The notice also recorded 14,384 banned devices and 21,950 affected accounts. That total was much higher than the previous July 20 to July 26 review, which recorded 19,196 banned accounts in the previous weekly sweep.
Permanently banned accounts appear in a full permanent-ban PDF. The first three characters of each in-game nickname are replaced with asterisks in the attached list.
How to report misconduct
PUBG asks players to use the in-game reporting tools first when they encounter illegal software or other misconduct. Players who need more help can contact PUBG Support. The notice also recommends Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator as an added account-security measure for PC players.
