Pokémon GO Will Allow Safari Ball Transfers to HOME Starting October 7

The transfer option is scheduled to arrive alongside Pokémon HOME version 4.1.0, with Safari Balls changing to Strange Balls after the move.

Starting October 7, Pokémon GO Trainers will be able to transfer Pokémon caught with Safari Balls to Pokémon HOME. The feature is scheduled for the same day as Pokémon HOME version 4.1.0.

Starting October 7, you will be able to transfer Pokémon caught in Safari Balls from GO to HOME.

Pokémon HOME’s version 4.1.0 notice confirms the October 7 update date. After the transfer, Safari Balls will become Strange Balls, as explained in an earlier Pokémon announcement.
