Pokémon GO’s Next Raid Rotation Will Feature Yveltal and Mega Blastoise

Yveltal remains in five-star raids through Oct. 13, with a 2,073-2,160 CP catch range that rises to 2,591-2,701 CP in boosted weather.

Pokémon GO’s raid rotation beginning at 6:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, Oct. 7, features Yveltal in Tier 5 and Mega Blastoise in Tier 4. The listed lineup runs through around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, while Yveltal remains in five-star raids through Oct. 13.

Tier 3 raids include Starmie, Umbreon, and Gothitelle, while Tier 1 features Astronaut Pikachu.

The Oct. 7 Raid Hour has passed, but Yveltal’s broader raid window is still underway. A standard Level 20 catch ranges from 2,073 to 2,160 CP. Weather-boosted encounters at Level 25 range from 2,591 to 2,701 CP.

Yveltal counter options

Yveltal is Dark- and Flying-type, making Electric, Fairy, Ice, and Rock attackers useful choices. Electric options include Mega Raichu Y with Thunder Shock and Zap Cannon, Mega Raichu X with Thunder Shock and Volt Tackle, Shadow Raikou with Thunder Shock and Wild Charge, and Shadow Zapdos with Thunder Shock and Thunderbolt. Zeraora is listed with Spark and Plasma Fists, while Xurkitree uses Thunder Shock and Discharge.

For Rock damage, Mega Diancie can use Rock Throw and Rock Slide, while Shadow Rhyperior is paired with Smack Down and Rock Wrecker. Ice choices include Kyurem White with Ice Fang and Ice Burn, and Kyurem Black with Dragon Tail and Freeze Shock. Zacian Crowned Sword rounds out the listed options with Metal Claw and Play Rough.
