Pokémon GO is taking City Safari to Lisbon in 2026
The two-day event will run on September 26 and 27, 2026, with ticketed bonuses, Eevee Explorer Hat research, and a City Safari Stamp Rally.

Pokémon GO City Safari 2026 will head to Lisbon, Portugal on September 26 and 27, 2026. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, and tickets will be sold through Niantic’s ticketing page.
That keeps the City Safari format moving after earlier stops like Bangkok. Lisbon will get a citywide event built around special spawns, research, and add-on perks for ticket holders.
Ticket details and event bonuses
The listing puts tickets at €10.00 plus applicable taxes and fees, while one-day tickets are listed at €8.00. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and the event page says they will not be refundable except where local law and the terms of service require it.
Ticket holders will get an increased chance of finding Shiny Pokémon, Lure Modules that last four hours during the event, up to five Special Trades per day, and trades at 50% less Stardust cost. Party Play will run for eight hours, and your buddy may find an exclusive Tiny Compass souvenir.
The event will also offer optional add-ons. The Raid Lover add-on costs €6.00, the Egg-enthusiast add-on costs €6.00, and the Citywide Gameplay Extra Day Add-On costs €8.00.
Wild spawns, eggs, and research
Mudbray will be the main exclusive wild encounter for the event. Other wild spawns will include Jigglypuff, Abra, Totodile, Unown, M Unown, L Unown, R Unown, Marill, Mareep, Hoppip, Stantler, Miltank, Wingull, Baltoy, Buizel, Lillipup, Petilil, Yamask, Gothita, Binacle, Clauncher, Hawlucha, Oranguru, Komala, Orange Flabébé, and Flamigo.
In 7km Eggs, Trainers will be able to hatch Hawlucha, Mudbray, Orange Flabébé, and Komala. Field Research will also be part of the event, along with a Special Research story that starts with Eevee wearing an Explorer Hat.
That Eevee line matters because the hat version can evolve into its known Eeveelutions, as long as players have the candy and meet each form’s normal requirements.
GO Stamp Rally replaces the old Timed Research setup
City Safari: Lisbon will use GO Stamp Rally instead of the older City Safari Timed Research format. Players can collect up to eight stamps by visiting participating PokéStops, and each stamp will grant an encounter with Eevee wearing an Explorer Hat. If luck is on your side, that Eevee can be Shiny.
The Stamp Rally progress will track in the Scrapbook, and it can only be completed once per day during event hours. The event also keeps in-person play open across Lisbon, which gives the city itself a bigger role in the hunt.
If you want more context on the format, the same City Safari structure also showed up in our Bangkok City Safari coverage.
