Path of Exile 2’s 0.5.5 Preview Will Air on August 27 Before the Final ExileCon Race
Grinding Gear Games will start the broadcast at 12:30 p.m. PDT before a Q&A with Jonathan Rogers and ZiggyD, followed by the final ExileCon qualifier, while a Twitch Drops promotion runs through August 28.

Grinding Gear Games will use its August 27 GGG Live broadcast to share new information about Path of Exile 2 and update 0.5.5. The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m. PDT, as outlined in the developer’s Steam announcement.
After the preview, game director Jonathan Rogers and ZiggyD will answer questions during a short Q&A session. Grinding Gear Games has not provided the subjects for that discussion, so the broadcast is where viewers will learn which 0.5.5 details the team is ready to share.
The final ExileCon qualifier will follow the Q&A at 2:00 p.m. PDT on August 27, completing the four-race series that sends winners to the live Path of Exile 2 finale at ExileCon. Our ExileCon qualifier schedule covers the event’s Solo Self-Found Runes of Aldur format and its Act Four challenge against Tavakai. The final race will use a fixed layout.
Viewers can watch the broadcast through the official Path of Exile Twitch channel. Co-streaming will also be welcome, giving creators permission to host their own coverage of the presentation and the qualifier.
How to earn the Curse of the Allflame Mystery Box
Grinding Gear Games’ Twitch Drops announcement confirms that drop tracking will run from the start of GGG Live on August 27 until 12:30 p.m. PDT on August 28. During that window, viewers who accumulate 30 minutes of viewing on the official channel or any channel in the Path of Exile 2 Directory can qualify for the Curse of the Allflame Mystery Box, provided Drops are enabled.
The reward is guaranteed for all accounts that reach the 30-minute requirement. If an account already owns every microtransaction from the Curse of the Allflame Mystery Box, it will receive two Warlord Mystery Boxes instead.
Link your Path of Exile account before watching
To participate, sign in to the Path of Exile Twitch Settings page. Under Other Connections, select Connect next to Twitch and complete the authorization process. Accounts that are already linked will show a confirmation that the Path of Exile account is connected to Twitch.
After reaching 30 minutes of watch time, redeem the reward from your Twitch Inventory before the promotion ends at 12:30 p.m. PDT on August 28. Creators streaming Path of Exile 2 during the event can enable Drops through the Twitch Creator Dashboard.
