Path of Exile’s Fan Art Contest Will Run Through September 2
Entries must draw from Path of Exile 2's Return of the Ancients or Path of Exile's Curse of the Allflame, with AI-generated artwork excluded.
Grinding Gear Games will open a new Path of Exile fan art competition alongside the recent updates for both games. The contest will begin with the Steam announcement and will accept entries until Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 p.m. PDT.
Artwork must be inspired by content from Return of the Ancients in Path of Exile 2 or Curse of the Allflame in Path of Exile. Paintings, drawings, and model creations are eligible, but video submissions will not be accepted.
Every entry must be the artist’s own work and must have been created after the competition begins. Multiple submissions are allowed, and AI-generated art is prohibited. Grinding Gear Games also reserves the right to disqualify work it believes was made with AI tools.
Fan art competition prizes
The top 20 entries will receive a mix of physical merchandise and in-game rewards. The prize pool may grow if the competition receives an overwhelming number of high-quality submissions.
- Top three winners: a forum avatar based on the winning artwork, one developer-signed Path of Exile poster of the winner’s choice, two Path of Exile or Path of Exile 2 T-shirts, two random Path of Exile Pins, Chaos Orb Socks, a Chaos Orb Deskpad, an Exalted Orb Cap, plus one Armour Set, Portal Effect, and Footprints Effect from the available lists.
- Fourth and fifth place: one Path of Exile or Path of Exile 2 T-shirt, Chaos Orb Socks, two random Path of Exile Pins, a Chaos Orb Deskpad, and one Armour Set, Portal Effect, and Footprints Effect from the available lists.
- Sixth through 10th place: one Path of Exile or Path of Exile 2 T-shirt, Chaos Orb Socks, one random Path of Exile Pin, and one Portal Effect and Footprints Effect from the available lists.
- 11th through 20th place: one Portal Effect from the available list.
- Runners-up: one Curse of the Allflame Mystery Box.
How to submit artwork
Artists can submit their work through the official Path of Exile forum thread. Entries submitted after 10:00 p.m. PDT on September 2 will not count, while the winners will be announced sometime in the following days.
