Once Human 3.1.1 Fixes Will Change Voyager Ship Loot on October 29

Players who miss a cabin pickup can still claim the crate after a ship sinks, but rewards disappear after 2 minutes.

Once Human’s Version 3.1.1 fixes are scheduled for October 29 at 07:00 PT, though the completion time may vary, according to the Steam announcement. The main change affects Voyager on Isles of Abyss: players who miss a cabin pickup can still claim the crate after the ship sinks. Anyone can collect the crates, however, and the rewards disappear after 2 minutes.

Other scheduled fixes address Ghost Ship rewards that vanish after the mod guarantee triggers, a prolonged loading screen after teleporting back to the water platform, and resource descriptions that clarify where automatic production works. A separate PlayStation-only fix addresses tipping the host on PlayStation Custom Servers.

The new changes continue the Version 3.1.1 cleanup after the October 26 fixes for Isles of Abyss, which addressed a missing opening task, a lab door issue, and ships that could become stuck.

Once Human Version 3.1.1 Patch Notes

October 29

The following issues are expected to be fixed by 07:00 PT. Actual completion time may vary:

  1. Adjusted the drop rules for sinking Voyager ships

Recently, we have received feedback from many Metas that in the Voyager game mode on the Isles of Abyss, wreckage dropped after a ship is sunk may be looted by other players, and ships may be deliberately sunk before loot crates are picked up, affecting the normal reward obtain experience. To address this issue, we have adjusted the drop rules after a Voyager ship is sunk.

After the adjustment, sinking a Voyager ship will drop Voyager Loot Crates that can be picked up by anyone. If you did not pick up the loot crate inside the cabin, you can still pick it up after the ship sinks. (Note: Rewards disappear after 2 minutes. Metas, please pick up your rewards as soon as possible after completing tasks.)

This means that even if you fail to enter the cabin to pick up the loot crate before the ship sinks, you will not directly miss out on the corresponding rewards because the ship was sunk. At the same time, it also reduces disputes over reward ownership caused by wreckage looting, making reward obtain in the Voyager game mode more stable and clear.

  2. Fixed an issue where rewards disappeared and could not be claimed after the Ghost Ship triggered the mod guarantee.
  3. Fixed an issue where, in some cases, teleporting back to the water platform would result in being stuck on the loading interface for a long time, and after signing in again, the player would appear in an abnormal location and die.
  4. Modified the descriptions of Isles of Abyss specialty resources in interfaces such as the Extraction Pump and Automatic Mining Platform. The modification now clarifies that automatic Production can only be carried out within the island range of the corresponding calamity zone.
  5. [PS Only] Fixed an issue where players on the PlayStation Custom Server could not tip the server host.
