NVIDIA Hotfix Targets Two Rough Edges for GeForce Players
Driver 610.82 addresses RTX 50-series stability problems in Halo: Campaign Evolved and long pauses in Path of Exile 2's DX12 mode.

NVIDIA released GeForce hotfix driver 610.82 for its graphics cards on July 23, 2026. The update focuses on two problems, with one affecting Halo: Campaign Evolved on GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs and the other targeting long pauses in Path of Exile 2.
For Halo: Campaign Evolved, the driver addresses stability issues that could affect RTX 50 series hardware when using 610.xx drivers. The timing is useful for players planning to try the game’s Early Access release later on July 23. The full release is scheduled for July 28.
The second fix applies to Path of Exile 2 when the game runs in DX12 mode. NVIDIA’s notes say that driver 610.82 resolves intermittent long pauses that could occur after extended gameplay sessions.
Players who are not running either game have little reason to install this particular hotfix. Those who do need one of these fixes can download GeForce hotfix driver 610.82 from NVIDIA’s support page. Anyone whose current driver setup is working normally can also remain on that version until a broader driver update arrives.
