No Man’s Sky 6.36 tidies up Xeno Arena bugs on Steam

Hello Games said the patch is live on Steam now and will reach other platforms soon, with fixes for visor icons, mission markers, Corvettes, and Switch connection prompts.

No Man’s Sky update 6.36 is a small cleanup patch that targets visor icons, mission markers, Corvette handling, a Freighter duplicate bug, longer load times, and a Switch offline prompt. Hello Games said it is live on Steam now, with other platforms to follow as soon as possible.

A smaller December 1 patch, No Man’s Sky update 6.18, also kept to a short list of fixes.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you to everyone playing No Man’s Sky – Xeno Arena, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.

We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 6.36, which is now live on Steam, and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused certain icons to be missing when viewed through the analysis visor.
  • Fixed an issue where certain icons displayed the incorrect image when viewed through the Cyclops Scope.
  • Fixed an issue that caused mission markers to disappear when not in focus.
  • Fixed an issue that caused mission markers not to show up after completing a scan in Target Sweep Mode.
  • Fixed an issue that caused edited decorations in a Corvette to be placed outside of the Corvette when flying.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Corvettes from landing in the Space Station and the Anomaly.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause decoration parts in a Corvette to move around slightly in multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause Corvette collision to be offset for multiplayer passengers.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause Corvette decoration parts to be placed incorrectly when cancelling an edit in build mode.
  • Fixed a text issue which incorrectly described oxygen plants as “sodium rich” in the Analysis Visor.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a duplicate of the player’s Freighter to appear after warping.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a longer wait on the initial white screen after the loading screen.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a connection dialogue to repeatedly appear when playing offline on Switch and Switch 2.

We will continue to release patches as issues are identified and resolved. If you experience any issues, let us know by submitting a bug report.
