NBA 2K27 Update 1.3 Will Bring Matchmaking Fixes and PC Mod Tool Improvements

The patch is scheduled for around 2 AM PT on August 31 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, with balance adjustments and fixes for The City, The REC, and the Auction House.

NBA 2K27 update 1.3 is scheduled to arrive around 2 AM PT on August 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The patch focuses on matchmaking, progression, stability, and the PC mod tool, while also adjusting 2 gameplay-related systems.

Players should see a fix for Squads breaking apart when backing out of matchmaking, plus corrections for stats and progression after some games in The City. The update will also address hangs in The REC and the Auction House, along with a blocker in the Fire & Conqueror story after a disconnect during a Co-Op game. The Steam announcement says existing saves can continue after that story fix.

On the balance side, Shot Artist and Calibrated Takeover Abilities will be less effective. Crew XP and REP earn rates will be tuned based on community feedback, while the PC mod tool will receive a large performance increase. A broader set of fixes and improvements is planned before Season 2 launches, so this will not be the final cleanup pass for NBA 2K27.

NBA 2K27 version 1.3 patch notes dated August 31, 2026

The patch follows NBA 2K27 v1.2 patch notes, which left gameplay untouched while restoring MyTEAM Auction House Buyout filters and PC key remapping. Version 1.3 moves further into gameplay and progression tuning, even though most of its fixes still target stability and access issues.

Most of the changes address situations that could interrupt a session or stop progress from applying. The balance adjustments affect 2 abilities and the pace of Crew rewards, while the PC mod tool receives a performance pass.
