Minecraft Bedrock 26.44 Is Reaching Platforms With Seven Targeted Fixes
The hotfix addresses command behavior, Education-feature visuals, Android back navigation, bow arrows, add-on world loading, Creative inventory handling, and dimension JSON files.

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 26.44 is reaching platforms as approvals are completed, bringing seven fixes for commands, visuals, input, items, stability, the user interface, and technical content. Players may receive the hotfix at different times depending on their platform.
Mojang posted the official 26.44 hotfix changelog on August 14, 2026. The update follows the previous Bedrock 26.41/42/43 hotfix, which focused on crashes and missing assets during world loading.
The new fixes clean up a few especially awkward problems. Non-operator players will no longer get extra self-selection behavior from commands, Android’s Back button now stays inside the game as expected, and a slightly charged bow shot will not hit the player who fired it. Creative-mode players using Pocket UI also get a safer way to move items around without accidentally deleting them.

The changelog contains six player-facing fixes and one technical correction. Alongside the command, input, item, and inventory changes, the hotfix restores Vibrant Visuals for worlds using Education features, prevents certain add-on worlds from disconnecting players during loading, and fixes ignored values in dimension JSON files.
