PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers have three more Classics games to watch for, with Mega Man X Command Mission arriving later in September and Dino Crisis 2 and the original Ratchet & Clank planned for later in 2026. Sony announced the lineup during the Sept. 3 State of Play livestream.
Capcom’s Mega Man X Command Mission is the only one with a month-level release window so far. The PlayStation 2 action game will join the Classics Catalog later this month, although Sony has not shared a specific date.
Dino Crisis 2 is the PlayStation survival horror sequel planned for later in 2026. Insomniac Games’ original Ratchet & Clank is also coming to the catalog, bringing back the PlayStation 2 game that first launched in 2002. Neither title has a more precise release date yet.
Ratchet & Clank will add a new PS5 Platinum Trophy
The emulated PS5 version of the 2002 original will add a new Platinum Trophy when it joins PS Plus Premium later in 2026. James Stevenson confirmed the addition in a post on X on Sept. 3. The release will also be the first time the original Ratchet & Clank can be played natively on PS5, so players will no longer need to stream the PS3 version to revisit the game.

The PS3 and PS Vita Ratchet & Clank Collections already give players access to the original game, making the PS5 release a potential third Platinum run for the same 2002 adventure. This is the original game rather than the 2016 PS4 remake.
Classics stay tied to PS Plus Premium
Unlike the Game Catalog, which is available to both Extra and Premium subscribers, Classics games are limited to the Premium tier. Extra members will not receive these three games through their current subscription level.
The Classics Catalog recently added the PlayStation 2 game Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and the PlayStation game Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire. The separate August Game Catalog additions included Helldivers 2 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on PS5, alongside Vampire Survivors on PS5 and PS4, Hell is Us on PS5, Umamusume Pretty Derby: Party Dash on PS4, Two Point Museum on PS5, Metro Exodus on PS5 and PS4, and Dying Light 2 on PS5 and PS4.
