Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls made its PS5 and PC debut on August 6, 2026, and PlayStation Studios teams marked the fighting game’s arrival with illustrations that put their own characters beside the Marvel roster.
Access followed regional server windows across August 6 and August 7. The launch-time breakdown has the local start times, while the artwork celebration unfolded through posts from Insomniac Games, Santa Monica Studio, and Naughty Dog.
Kratos and Ghost Rider share the spotlight
Santa Monica Studio supplied the clearest crossover image, placing Kratos and Ghost Rider together with their chain weapons lit by fire. It is a fitting pairing for a game built around larger-than-life fighters, and it gives the launch artwork a strong God of War flavor without taking the focus away from Marvel Tōkon.
Santa Monica Studio shared the artwork while congratulating the team behind the game and saying it was ready to jump into the fighter.
Congratulations to @MARVELTokon on the launch of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls!
We can't wait to jump in and play. Some fighting styles just speak for themselves. ⛓️ 🔥

Ellie heads to the arcade
Naughty Dog added its own spin on August 7 with an illustration of Ellie getting ready to play Marvel Tōkon at an arcade cabinet. The studio presented her as someone who already had every combo memorized, which feels like exactly the kind of confidence an arcade fighter demands.
A huge congrats to @ArcSystemWorksU on this week's launch of @MARVELTokon: Fighting Souls!

Insomniac connects the launch to Wolverine
Insomniac Games posted on August 6 to congratulate Arc System Works on the launch while also promoting Marvel’s Wolverine. Its message pointed to the crossover between the two Marvel projects, though the studio did not share a separate illustration of the two Wolverines facing off.
Congrats to @ArcSystemWorksU on today's launch of #MARVELTokon: Fighting Souls! We enjoyed tag-teaming with you to cross our Earthly worlds together. 🥊 🌐 🥊 pic.twitter.com/e1VuBpBBKf

Together, the posts connect Marvel Tōkon’s launch to three different corners of PlayStation’s first-party lineup, with Kratos, Ghost Rider, and Ellie each getting their own place in the celebration.
