Update: Aura of Chaos quest is finally fixed with March 4th weekly update.
If you’ve delved into the Whispering Islet story and you met Nineveh, then you should probably meet a roadblock sooner or later. There is a quest given by Nineveh named Aura of Chaos that is still buggy, but it’s needed for further progression in other continents.
The quest goes as follows:
- Foggy Ridge
- Track the trace of chaos at the Sanctum of Mist
- Nineveh and Kakul-Saydon, who chase chaos, are bearing witness to Mystic
- Track the trace of chaos at the Sanctum of Mist
This bug prevents people from entering the instance. They can see the question mark on the Foggy Ridge island but are having issues entering. That is almost two weeks after the given feedback of a failing quest without any particular address by the developers. Abandoning and re-taking the quest does not resolve the issue.
According to the developer feedback, they are aware of this issue and are working on a fix, which means that tomorrow there’s a high probability it will be fixed. Until then, we can only assume the outcome.
