Is March’s PS Plus Extra Drop Good Enough? Persona, Space Marine 2, and More Land Next Week

Sony confirmed the full March lineup for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, with the new batch scheduled to arrive next week. The PS Plus Extra additions include five titles that span action, RPG and sports. Highlights are:

  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – a chunky third-person action shooter that has received significant post-launch support.
  • Persona 5 Royal – the expanded edition of the JRPG often cited among the genre’s best entries.
  • Blasphemous 2 – a side-scrolling action game known for brutal combat and heavy gothic imagery.
  • Metal Eden – a fast-paced sci-fi shooter built for high-intensity matches.
  • Madden NFL 26 – the annual American football sim that will likely divide subscribers depending on their interest in sports titles.

On the Premium side, Sony is adding the PSP edition of Tekken: Dark Resurrection. The PSP release is a welcomed throwback for fighting fans, though it appears the port will not include Trophy support, a point raised in the Push Square piece and directed at Bandai Namco’s handling of legacy PSP releases. The new set keeps Extra focused on variety rather than a single genre push. For comparison with an earlier PS Plus drop, see the December 2025 PS Plus lineup.
