How to Use Remedy Fungus in Peak and What It Actually Does

Remedy Fungus heals players, revives teammates, and removes negative effects in Peak.

Peak is a lively co-op climbing game where survival depends on more than just your climbing skills. One key item you’ll want to grab on your journey is the Remedy Fungus. It might look like a simple mushroom, but it’s actually a lifesaver in many situations.

Climbing can quickly wear you out, and hunger or injuries can get in the way of your progress. The Remedy Fungus will help you bounce back by creating a healing cloud that affects anyone nearby. Curious about how to use it and what benefits it brings? Let’s break it down.

What is the Remedy Fungus?

The Remedy Fungus is an important item in Peak that heals you or any other player who uses it. When activated, it produces a healing cloud that restores health to anyone who steps inside. This means your whole party can get healed together.

Besides healing, it also removes any negative effects you might be suffering from and can even negate fall damage. It can revive a fallen teammate, too, which is pretty handy when things get rough.

  • Heals an entire party
  • Revives fallen teammates
  • Negates fall damage
  • Removes negative status effects

How to Use the Remedy Fungus

There are two ways you can use the Remedy Fungus, each suited for different situations.

Throw it on the Ground

The most common method is to hold the Remedy Fungus, aim at a surface, and throw it. This action creates the healing cloud that benefits all players nearby. It’s perfect for moments when your whole team needs a quick health boost.

Keep it in Your Item Slot

If you keep the Remedy Fungus in your item slot, it will automatically activate when you take heavy fall damage. This can save your life by providing immediate healing. It’s especially useful if you’re playing solo or if one teammate tends to be a bit clumsy.

Can You Find the Remedy Fungus?

Unfortunately, there’s no guaranteed way to find the Remedy Fungus. It’s a randomly generated item that appears only if luck is on your side.

Exploring the maps thoroughly and keeping an eye out for white mushrooms will increase your chances of finding it. It’s a bit of a gamble, but studying is part of the fun.

While you’re out there, you might also spot the adorable Capybaras or find a bugle that could unlock an achievement.

Do you think this kind of item changes how you approach co-op in Peak?
