Grand Theft Auto VI may have a physical PS5 release after all, at least based on an unverified product listing shared on Reddit. The image shows the game’s PS5 box art alongside a $79.99 price.
The listing also displays a 4.0-star rating from 26 ratings, plus purchase limits of four copies per order and four per membership. However, the screenshot does not identify the retailer, show a product URL, or confirm whether the box contains a Blu-ray disc or a download code.
That distinction matters. Earlier reporting on GTA 6’s boxed PS5 editions indicated that they use download codes rather than traditional discs. The new image could point to a change in plans, but it could also be a placeholder listing or artwork used before the final packaging details are announced.
The image was shared by Reddit user /u/RipUANew1, who presented it as evidence that Rockstar may be preparing a disc-based edition. For now, that remains a claim rather than an announcement from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
So I guess they’re doing discs after all

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. Until Rockstar or the retailer provides clear product details, players should treat this listing as an unconfirmed sign of a possible physical release.
