Gray Zone Warfare Hotfix 0.5.0.2 Stops Repeat Faction Bonus Claims
The update also fixes cloud-shadow flicker and warns Radeon RX 9000 users on newer drivers about possible GPU crashes.

Gray Zone Warfare Hotfix 0.5.0.2 is now live, fixing an issue that let ineligible characters collect the faction sign-up bonus and allowed repeat claims. The official Steam changelog also covers graphics, driver warnings, and server stability. MADFINGER’s previous backend hotfix addressed stash resets after a season transition and failed server connections after queue waits.
Cloud shadows could cause ground flicker on the High and Medium graphics presets. The update fixes that problem. Players with AMD Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards running driver 26.10.1 or newer will also see a warning recommending driver 26.8.1, since newer drivers can cause GPU crashes.
Server stability improvements are intended to make players less likely to disconnect during online service issues. The change follows Hotfix 0.5.0.0 (1), which addressed server freezes that caused network errors and blocked connections. If the new download does not appear automatically, restart Steam.
