Forza Horizon 6’s PS5 Release May Be Delayed to Early 2027

A Dealabs report lists January 26, 2027, for the PS5 version and a physical edition at €69.99 in Europe and £59.99 in the UK, and says Xbox plans to announce the date this week with preorders to follow.

Billbil-kun’s Dealabs report lists January 26, 2027, as the PS5 launch date for Forza Horizon 6. If accurate, that would put the port beyond Playground Games’ latest public window of later in 2026. Microsoft and Playground have not confirmed the date.

The report also lists a physical PS5 edition priced at €69.99 in Europe and £59.99 in the UK, matching the Xbox Series version. Billbil-kun says Xbox plans to announce the PS5 date sometime this week, with preorders opening immediately afterward.

Playground Games’ September 7 Series 5 update said the PS5 version would arrive later in 2026 and invited players to add it to their PlayStation Store wishlists.

The Xbox Series X|S and PC editions launched on May 19, 2026. Tom Warren’s August 27 expectation that the PS5 version would miss 2026 came before his September 8 Notepad newsletter, which cited sources familiar with Playground Games’ plans and said Microsoft was planning a slight delay. Warren tied the timing to the game’s first expansion and expected the port to arrive before its 12-month anniversary.
