A new chapter is coming soon for Fortnite. The game will kick off its first complete Star Wars season next month, bringing fans a whole galaxy of excitement. This was revealed at the recent Star Wars Celebration event held in Japan.
The upcoming content, Fortnite: Galactic Battle, will unfold over five themed parts that players won’t want to miss. Here’s the schedule:
- May 2 – Imperial Takeover
- May 8 – The Pull of the Force
- May 22 – Mandalorian Rising
- May 29 – Star Destroyer Bombardment
- June 7 – Death Star Sabotage
This saga promises to culminate in a live event that puts players in the middle of an epic narrative where they’ll feel like they’re controlling the entire galaxy’s fate.
The trailer for this monumental season dropped some interesting news: fan-favorite character Darth Jar Jar will appear! Alongside him, players can look forward to a brand-new in-game ability—Force Lightning—that’s sure to spice up gameplay.
No major update would be complete without a fresh Battle Pass. This one comes packed with iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine and mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. Players can even expect new items in the shop, including Mac Windu, alongside their favorite starships like X-Wings and TIE Fighters, which are available for piloting!
This marks yet another collaboration between Fortnite and Star Wars—but it’s distinct since it’s the first time an entire season will be dedicated solely to these galactic legends. Since 2019, we’ve seen numerous skins join the roster from across the franchise, featuring icons like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala…and so many more!
