Evercade’s Doom Collection will bring eight campaigns and wild new modifiers on October 30

The cartridge will include native ports of Doom and Doom 2, six map expansions, local multiplayer modes, and compatibility across Evercade and HyperMegaTech Super Pocket devices, while a limited-edition Nexus bundle will be capped at 3,000 units.

Blaze Entertainment will release the Doom Collection for Evercade on October 30, 2026, bringing two native Doom ports, six map expansions, and a stack of new ways to make the classic shooter even more chaotic.

The ports are based on the PC versions and include quality-of-life improvements. The cartridge will include Doom and Doom 2, along with TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, Master Levels for Doom II, No Rest for the Living, SIGIL, and SIGIL II. That gives players eight separate campaigns, while the Doom: Deathmatch Pack adds maps built for local competitive play.

New Doom modifiers will change how the campaigns play

Evercade’s collection will also include exclusive gameplay modifiers that can turn familiar levels into something much less predictable. The options include Turbo Monsters, Double Monsters, Explosive Deaths, Revenge Barrels, Vampire Mode, and No Monsters.

Additional violence settings will let players increase the blood or activate modifiers called Shotgun Close Encounter and Chainsaw Massacre. They should give repeat runs a different rhythm, whether the goal is a tougher fight or a deliberately ridiculous one.

Classic Deathmatch and co-op will be joined by three additional modes: Chaosmatch, Instagib, and Tag.

Blaze Entertainment has also confirmed that the cartridge will work with every Evercade device released by the company, as well as all HyperMegaTech Super Pocket systems. That includes the Evercade Nexus, which is scheduled for release in October.

A limited-edition DOOM-themed Evercade Nexus bundle will be restricted to 3,000 units worldwide and cost $249.99. The package will include the DOOM-themed Nexus console, special packaging, a big-box version of the Doom Collection cartridge, a DOOM carry case, a comic, a keyring, a double-sided poster, and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

The Nexus will be the first Evercade handheld with twin analog sticks. It will also feature a 5.89-inch IPS display, compared with the 4.3-inch IPS screen used by the Evercade EXP-R.

Alongside compatibility with more than 80 Evercade cartridges released since 2020, the Nexus will launch with a separate cartridge containing native versions of Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. That cartridge will also be sold separately.
