Euro Truck Simulator 2’s Isle of Ireland DLC Will Add Cavan’s Roads, Landmarks and Depots

Euro Truck Simulator 2 will take drivers into Cavan with the upcoming Isle of Ireland map expansion. SCS Software previewed the county town on September 10, showing a route built around Irish scenery, local landmarks and several delivery destinations.

Cavan sits in Ireland’s lakeland region, where green hills, rural roads and agricultural surroundings give the town its character. The in-game version will bring those elements together with carefully built streets, buildings and vegetation, giving drivers a new regional stop to pass through on their journeys.

Local details will help separate Cavan from other Irish towns. Drivers may spot a stone wall and a rugby field along the route, while the surrounding architecture and road layout add more identity to the area.

Cavan will offer several delivery destinations

Work opportunities give Cavan more than a scenic reason to stop. An oil supplier will serve as one of the town’s key industrial destinations, creating jobs connected to fuel products and regional logistics.

Refrigerated and packaged cargo will move through a food distribution depot, while a supermarket depot will handle everyday goods and fresh produce. Together, those facilities give Cavan a mix of freight work that reflects its role as a regional hub.

The preview follows SCS Software’s earlier work gathering references across Ireland. The studio’s Ireland research trip covered towns, roads and working infrastructure, and Cavan’s combination of local streets and active depots reflects that attention to regional detail.
