Escape From Tarkov June 2 Update Brings New Anti-Aliasing Algorithm and Redesigned Network Buffering

Battlestate Games bolted an update for Escape From Tarkov, which should improve the visualization accuracy of the position of other players in the raid but also maintain the smoothness of their movement. According to the information on Twitter, the installation has already started and will take a couple of hours before it lands ultimately.

This update promises to redesign the network buffering and anti-aliasing algorithm completely. So far, no additional patch notes have been posted; if they do, we’ll post them below.

What could be tied to this update? First and foremost, Battlestate Games has always been focused on performance. With Escape From Tarkov Arena estimated to arrive this year, this update could very well be regarding it. The tweet for the update can be found below:

The main goal of these changes is to increase the visualization accuracy of the position of other players in the raid as much as possible (as far as your network connection allows), while maintaining the smoothness of their movement.
