Following a recent console update on the game’s official site, the team behind Dune: Awakening said its first PlayStation closed beta playtest will run from June 25 to June 29. The test is limited to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro players in North America, and it is meant to check how the game feels after changes to the control scheme, combat, and progression.
This first pass will focus on the multiplayer game mode only. Single-player, along with the full set of customization options, will be held for a later playtest.
Players who want in can register through the official registration page. The studio said only a very limited number of people from the sign-up list will be invited, and selected players will need to agree to an NDA before they can join. Streaming, screenshots, footage capture, and public discussion outside the private testing channels are off-limits, and invitation emails with NDAs and keys are due sometime next week.
