Dune: Awakening 1.5.3.5 Adds Sardaukar Pieces and Fixes Save Errors

Filmic Archive armor can now be applied across garment types, though stillsuit slot overlaps limit some combinations.

Dune: Awakening‘s 1.5.3.5 hotfix adds mirrored Sardaukar construction pieces and broader armor customization for the Filmic Archive DLC, alongside fixes for Xbox save problems, character transfers, and base crafting. Funcom detailed the changes in its September 30 Steam announcement.

The new construction pieces expand the 73-piece Sardaukar building set included with the Filmic Archive DLC. Armor customization sets can now be applied to different garment types, though stillsuit slots create some restrictions. The hotfix requires a client-side download. Restart Steam if it does not appear automatically, and Funcom says servers will return shortly.

FEATURES AND CHANGES

Resources, Building, and Crafting:

  • Based on player feedback, we added mirrored versions of eleven asymetrical Sardukar Building Set pieces to the Filmic Archive DLC.
  • Added the Corner Column piece to the Sardaukar Building set (from the Filmic Archive DLC) as it was initially missing.
  • Armor customization sets from the Filmic Archive DLC can now be applied to any type of garment, but with some limitations:
    • The Heavy, Light, and Social Chest and Leg slot customizations CANNOT be applied to stillsuit tops. This is due to stillsuits occupying two slots.
    • Stillsuit top customizations CAN be applied to the Light, Heavy, or Social chest slot items, however this overwrites any customization applied to the leg slot as the stillsuit top covers both the chest and the leg slots.

FIXES

Technical and stability:

  • Improved server and client stability.

  • Fixed several edge cases where players received the MM3 error when trying to play with a multiplayer character by pressing the Continue button.
  • Fixed several rare edge cases where the game would fail to save after being resumed on XBOX.

Resources, Building, and Crafting:

  • Fixed an issue where the crafting menu wouldn’t show the correct time progress in multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue where augment schematic items wouldn’t display their stat ranges correctly in the single-player mode.

Vehicles:

  • Fixed an issue where actions from the radial wheel menu on vehicles could fail to apply, including an issue that prevented refueling while the vehicle was moving.
  • Fixed an issue where in some rare cases vehicles could receive environmental damage while sheltered in bases and displaying the “Safe” status.

Worldbuilding and Exploration:

  • Fixed an issue where surveyed areas might not persist between restarts in single-player.

User Interface:

  • Fixed an issue where the item icon displayed an incorrect number of augments if players hadn’t yet unlocked that many augments for the item type.
  • Fixed an issue where the status for completed orders in the Exchange would not show correctly.
