Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Patch Adds New Battle Options Before July 30 DLC

The update adds three stages, new Custom Battle tools, two combat actions, and character-specific balance changes ahead of Super Limit-Breaking NEO.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero received a large patch on July 29, one day before the scheduled launch of the Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC. The update adds new arenas and music, changes several modes, and adjusts a wide range of combat systems.

The patch also prepares the game for characters trained through the DLC’s Limit Breaker Journey mode. Players can now control whether those fighters are allowed in certain offline and online battles.

The upcoming expansion will add more than 30 playable characters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and the franchise’s movies. It will also introduce four stages and a solo mode centered on training a chosen fighter. More details about that content are available in the Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC announcement.
