Even though Bethesda is quiet about Dishonored 2’s Denuvo Anti-Tamper Technology, we hear different rumors about finally been cracked. Right after those rumors started spreading around, Bethesda decided to release a new Dishonored 2 Beta Update 4, which might be related to Denuvo and its removal from Dishonored 2.

Denuvo Anti-tamper technology was pretty much bugging the players out, as they knew that it has to bug the game’s optimization in some way. Mostly, players were complaining about having a bad FPS issues and very slow loading time. Now, it seems like everything’s gone after a couple of players expressed themselves positive after trying out the new Beta Update 4.

This might indeed be a Denuvo removal, which is surely going to improve Dishonored 2’s optimization, letting players enjoy the game at much higher Frames Per Second.

Bethesda are still quiet regarding the Patch Notes for the new Dishonored 2 Beta Update 4, which leave us thinking on what has been changed. What they’ve said on their official forums is that this patch offers various optimizations, nothing else. On the other side, players confirmed that the FPS is a lot higher than before, which leads to a possibility of Denuvo Anti-Tamper technology removal.

In order to get the latest beta update, make sure you follow the steps below:

  1. Log into Steam.
  2. Right Click on Dishonored 2 in your Library.
  3. Select Properties.
  4. Select Betas.
  5. A drop down menu will appear. Select betapatch – Public.
  6. Select CLOSE.
  7. Wait for the game to update.
  8. When done, Dishonored 2 [betapatch] should appear in your Library.

After this, you’re pretty much good to go.
